This was the first of three public art projects commissioned by the City of Bloomington, Indiana to highlight public parking garages in the downtown area. The aim was to support economic development for the City’s new arts district. Each garage was given a theme, and mine was Garage Band, to reflect the many clubs and music venues found in this part of town.
