This project was a collaboration between myself, IU Folklore faculty, and the Bloomington Housing Authority, to create a welcoming archway for a community Boys and Girls Club. The arch functions not only as a colorful marker of their location in the public housing neighborhood, but also as a way to display events happening at the club. This arch was initially made from children’s drawings of bicycles.
