The concept for this background set was developed to be interactive, so that children on the program could arrange magnetic artwork on a magnetic paint surface. Making the art magnetic allows the background to be interchangeable, giving the possibility for new art to be introduced.
The art created for the set was thematic and included music, math, history, science and nature. The larger art pieces, such as the tree and stick person in this photo, were made from professional grade plywood. The other art pieces were made from sheet magnet with color vinyl materials.
