Detail is of a parent who designed and fabricated the metal globes which housed the time capsule containers. The globe shape encompassed a metal cage structure equipped with hinges that will open to release the children's messages. Straps were used to bolt the globes to the top of the poles. Thiey were covered with CDs in order to give the top of the sculpture a glowing effect.
