This detail of the arch shows many steel objects found at the scrap yard, which reflected the drawings created by the children. As with all collaborative art projects I’m involved in, work on the piece was distributed according to abilities. Children drew and colored the drawings and painted. A local designer fabricated the Boys and Girls Club logo, while local craftsmen did the welding for the project.
